Hand stitched moire lampshade with beaded tasseled fringe.

I hand stitched this lampshade which is fully lined. It is not recommended to use a vertical print for these but since it was a subtle cream moire fabric it did not present to much of a distraction. Since the shade is so large I put it on a floor lamp base which is over 50 years old, ( a family antique.)

  2. Hi Zaa! Thanks for the kind words. Actually it's not hard to do just time consuming. You do one panel at a time stitching onto twill tape that has been wrapped on the wire first. Give it a try - email me if you need some help. Sandra
