Used vintage papers on the outside of this glass. Painted the bottom with black acrylic paint then gave it a coat of liquid floor wax. Martini glass with some pizzaz!
Used vintage papers on the outside of this glass. Painted the bottom with black acrylic paint then gave it a coat of liquid floor wax. ReplyDeleteThe beaded trim reminds me of an antique art-deco lamp my grandparents had in their house, which belonged to my great-grandparents. When it was turned on, the light hit the bevelled glass trim around the lampshade and threw diamond-like reflections all over the room. Would love to have something like this on my desk...though unfortunately I'm sure a student walking by would knock it over and break it...the woes of being a teacher!
