Tray and tea pot still life by Sandra.

Made this tray using designer tissue paper. In the upper left hand corner I glued a vintage necklace. Added a sheet of glass to protect the embellishments and added beads to cover the glued edges.
Processed in Photoshop elements 9 using Topaz Adjust 5 – Toned Collection; Vintage.

  3. Hi Sandra! What a beautiful transformation! I'm intrigued by how you've used tissue paper. Have you ever used dress pattern paper or the top layer of decorative napkins? I'm in the process of gathering some of these things to try in upcoming projects.

  4. Hello Jenny, thanks for your lovely comment. Yes I have used the top layer of designer napkins on some of my hand made journal covers. It's wonderful. I will give the dress pattern paper a try when I do a "sewing" themed journal cover - thanks for the creative sharing tip. Sandra
