Mini Box For Mini Cards
Box - front and back. Designed using vintage sheet music and images. Makes a great gift for putting 6 mini cards and envelopes in. Hand painted the purple bow etc. Used upcycled jewelry to decorate the front of it.
Thanks to Mirkwood Designs for the box template.

Mini card series 4 upcycling pansy pictures.
Found these pansy images in a magazine which I ripped out and glued onto a mini card using cardstock. Inserted only the front into a embossing folder to give it some texture. Used sandpaper to go over the texture to lighten areas. Background leaves gathered from my garden and scanned to my pc. Processed with Photoshop as a "stamp".

Mini cards using cuttlebug embossing folder textures.
These are what I call mini cards. They are just the right size for dropping a few words to someone. I also package these up in sets of 5 or 6 with a handmade envelope each and box * them up for gifts also. I love textures - it adds a wonderful dimension to a plain piece of paper. * The boxes I make also. See label: Button box to view those.

Button Box for my mini cards.

Oh, these are so pleasurable to make and the ideas are endless.Source Credits:
- The background paper was an insert from one of the Somerset Studio magazines.
- The overlay image was from The ATC Collection by Memories In The Making. I curled and painted the corners and added the butterfly.
- Button box template is from: http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/templates.htm I just sent her a check /donation as per her website. Please do visit her site for even more templates.

Decoupage tissue mini cards.
These were so much fun to do. Once card was cut I glued tissue designs with Golden's Matte Medium and while still damp embossed it with various embossing folders with my cuttlebug. Decoupage Tissue "Garden" series by DMD. If I recall correct it came from 7 Gypsies.
Before cutting the cards I sprayed them randomly with walnut inks etc. Thanks for reading!

Mini cards using image transfers on vintage paper.
I will be posting my mini cards each week for a while. These were done with the image transfer technique on old book pages. I ran the card thru an embossing folder with my cuttlebug then layered it all from there. I will bundle these up and give them away as gifts. Stay posted for the boxes I made to put them in. All so enjoyable!
