This journal cover was created using a master board for the background. I then added stitches. I thought it was serendipitous that the word “learn” was part of the colIage with the little girl sitting and reading. I finished it with a beaded book charm hanging on the top left side. I also used sheet music that is over 100 years old as an inside cover.

Shabby Chic File Folder Pocket And Midori Style Journal

I created this file folder pocket by cutting down a file folder and decorating it. I used grommets and ribbon on the sides to act as an enclosure. A Midori style journal resides in this one of a kind folder.

Upcycyled Tissue Boxes For Junk Journals

Results of a tissue box upcycled for journal making. I used my die cutting machine to cut out several sized tags from the side of the box. The flap acts as a tuck in spot. The top with plastic window is another tuck in spot.
