Blue bird stamped tyvek tissue holder.

Used Tyvek to create this purse/bag size mini tissue holder.  Finished the ends by using the blanket stitch. Applied grommets to weave the narrow ribbon thru which makes it easy to add a new package of tissues when it becomes empty. Tyvek is a great "paper" to use for this as it is extremely tough.  I have one in my pocket and it gets crumpled but never tears etc.

Tyvek mini tissue holder.

Stamped this design on tyvek. Tyvek is wonderful, it will crumple but never tear. It can also be wiped clean as long as the ink used is permanent.

Botanical gift box cover.

This is the top of a gift box which I did in various green Glimmer Mists by Tattered Angels. For the window I did the botanical theme, concealing the pressed drieds and music paper. Punched 2 holes in bottom of window area to tie the hand made music ribbon. This makes a wonderful gift box where I often place one of my journals, a bookmark, a glass pendant, gift tag, kleenex pack and a music title clothespin of which all are handmade. The box can be used by the recipient for storing other things later. Watch for more ways that I have decorated these gift boxes.

Embroidered mini purse tissue holder.

Made this tissue holder with a tone on tone white cotton. Freehand embroidered the top and added some fibers to cover tab stitch. Added a vintage button. This will make a lovely little gift for one of my friends or relatives. Will share some other ideas later with the same concept.

Mini tissue holders for the purse etc.

I was tired of not having a place to keep my tissue packs for the purse etc. So I made this one from Tyvek. Stamped it and used a double ribbon closure so it's easy to put the kleenex in. Will post some of the others I designed at a later date.
