My Dream - music cover pedestal.

Used the cover of a vintage music book to cover this pedestal top. This would look lovely on or near the piano. Thanks for viewing!

Bookmark using vintage sheet music.

Started with sheet music that is approximately 100 years old and glued it onto card stock. Stamped then painted the purple butterfly before running through Cuttlebug to emboss both layers. Made my own beaded tassel. If you would like the purple background please visit my other blog: RUSTIC PIXEL BACKGROUNDS

Vintage sheet music bookmark with handmade tassel.

I made this from vintage sheet music that was about 100 years old. Then ran through the cuttlebug to give it some texture before stamping it with bird. Finished it off with a handmade tassel. Stay posted for more bookmarks this winter. CLICK ON PICTURE TO SEE EMBOSSING.

Dried Roses in wire basket with tassel etc

After downsizing I didn't know where to put this basket so I set it on this towel/plate rack in the bathroom. I love dried roses just as much as the real ones. All the detail in those dried petals!

Hand stitched moire lampshade with beaded tasseled fringe.

I hand stitched this lampshade which is fully lined. It is not recommended to use a vertical print for these but since it was a subtle cream moire fabric it did not present to much of a distraction. Since the shade is so large I put it on a floor lamp base which is over 50 years old, ( a family antique.)
