Mini heart - alpine violet image transfer.

I did four of these with a basic transfer and embellished each one differently. Will post at a later date the other three. Finished the edge with a daisy trim which has a violet center. The jewelry was given to me to use for my creativity. Printed the violet on a transparency overlay which features a blanket stitch edge. CLICK ON IMAGE TO SEE DETAILS.

Collaged wallhanging using vintage music related papers

This was so much fun to do. Glued these vintage music related papers to form a patchwork on to a wooden substrate which I had drilled the holes to hang. Clear embossed the surface to seal it at the same time. Will make a unique gift for the music lover. CLICK ON IMAGE TO SEE THE DETAIL.

Floral arrangement using dried peonies and roses etc.

It's that time of year to bring in those flowers and dry them. This has brought me lots of enjoyment thinking of the pickings from past gardens.

Mini notebooks using my textured stamped papers.

These were so enjoyable to make. I started out with a large sheet of illustration board of which I stamped and textured. Then cut up to sizes of 3"x 5.50". Will show more variations at a later date. To see more of the detail click on image.

Pauline valse duet music pedestal.

CLICK ON IMAGE SO YOU CAN SEE MORE OF THE DETAIL. This music cover was over 100 years old. It must have been played a lot as the cover was darkened where the pages would turn. To try and camouflage it I did a transparent texture before mounting on a wooden base. I did about 8 of these and finished each one differently. Will post them over the course of the winter. Wouldn't it look lovely sitting on a piano?

Used my own background paper. Printed the get well soon on textured vellum before attaching it with a creamy colored brad. Tucked the blue chiffon ribbon on the left side. If you would like the background please go to my RUSTIC PIXEL BACKGROUNDS blog. Thanks for reading!

Journal featuring little boy on blue n green backgrounds by Sandra

This journal cover has so many layers of which are backgrounds I painted on watercolor and printer paper. Hand and machine stitched the layers on. Sorry I can't give credit for the image as I have forgotten where - all I know is it is copyright free. I scanned this into my pc and did some photo editing as I didn't like the way it came through.

Gilded textured storage box with handles and ball feet.

I enjoyed doing this since I love textures. This would be a great gift. I can see cards, cd's, or toiletries being stored in it.

Hand painted envelopes.

Started with a large sheet of white paper and sprayed paint on an old lace tablecloth. I then cut each one out and folded to form an envelope - letter size. Added the scrap pieces and stitched around it. I'm sure Jennifer will love it. This would be great for the smaller card size too!

Botanical Journal Cover.

This is a first in my "Botanical Series" Journals. Sandwiched the dried bleeding heart and leaves then did the free motion machine stitching. Finished it off by adding a punched border and some fibers on the coil binding. Gave it to a friend as a journal. Oh what fun. Stay posted - I am working like crazy making all kinds of these of which I will share in future postings.
