I enjoyed making these mini cards with image transfers. If you look close you will see the text behind the image - I really like that look. Embossed the card stock before attaching the torn papers holding the image transfer etc.

Bookmark using vintage sheet music.
Started with sheet music that is approximately 100 years old and glued it onto card stock. Stamped then painted the purple butterfly before running through Cuttlebug to emboss both layers. Made my own beaded tassel. If you would like the purple background please visit my other blog: RUSTIC PIXEL BACKGROUNDSCLICK ON IMAGE TO SEE THE DETAILS. Thanks for reading.

Crazy quilt vintage papers Journal Cover labelled Far Away.
I used vintage papers (approximately 100 years old) to create this patchwork look. Covered it with a coat of soft gold and while still wet stamped with one of my background stamps. The black ribbon finishes it off as does the little stamped heart etc. I will find it hard to give away! CLICK ON IMAGE TO SEE MORE DETAILS.Monday, March 7, 2011
Textured die cut image transfer card.
Oh how I love making these. I upcycled part of an old greeting card. Started by making an image transfer (hence the obscure look which I love). I then used my Cuttlebug die cut and placed it over the top of one of my Cuttlebug textures. I use these as blank note cards. I also often bundle six together and tie with a ribbon and place in one of my gift boxes.

Botanical gift box cover.
This is the top of a gift box which I did in various green Glimmer Mists by Tattered Angels. For the window I did the botanical theme, concealing the pressed drieds and music paper. Punched 2 holes in bottom of window area to tie the hand made music ribbon. This makes a wonderful gift box where I often place one of my journals, a bookmark, a glass pendant, gift tag, kleenex pack and a music title clothespin of which all are handmade. The box can be used by the recipient for storing other things later. Watch for more ways that I have decorated these gift boxes.

Tea time tray using designer dinner tissue napkins.
I made this tray using several designer tissue napkins cut up and placed around the words "Tea Time" which I printed on tissue also. Sealed the entire surface with several coats of Golden's Polymer Varnish with UVLS (Matte). Put the "ball" feet on to give it a little extra look. Finished the back with a crackle finish.
